Rum Private Release Finished in a Malmsey Madeira Barrel

Each release of Barrell Rum Private Release is a unique blend of rums from Barbados, Jamaica, and Guyana, as well as Rhum Agricôle from Martinique. Once created, these blends are married in single casks, many of which were previously used for other spirits and/or wines.

Private Release Rum B547 consists of 46% Jamaican rum and 54% Barbados rum. The marrying and finishing were done in a sweet Malmsey Madeira barrel. The richest and most luxurious style of Madeira wine, Malmsey imparts layers of caramel, honey, toasted nuts, and dark chocolate, creating a beautifully rounded rum with exceptional depth and complexity.
